Y Swim School

The Y doesn't just focus on swimming fundamentals but also on developing self-confidence, making friends and building the whole person – from the inside out. At the Redding Y, kids and adults can take group or private swimming lessons in one of our 2 heated swimming pools. 

Lifeguard & Other Safety Training

The Y brings people together who want to learn. Whether you want to be a lifeguard or just learn how to save a life with CPR and First Aid, you’ll come together with others from your community who share your interests.

Water Aerobics & Pool Classes

What would the Y be without water? Water exercise and aqua aerobics are some of the water-based activities you’ll find at the Redding Y. The Y offers 2 heated swimming pools - one inside and one outside.

Open Swim and Lap Swimming

We are a place where you can find relief from your everyday challenges, and spend time together with friends and family. During our open swim or lap swimming times, you'll have a moment to relax and smile. With 2 heated swimming pools, there is room for everyone!

This teen sports conditioning camp will help you prepare for your next game day.

Participants sit in this land arthritis class that uses slow movements and stretching. A great alternative to the water class.
