The Y is committed to empowering kids to lead healthy, active lifestyles. With a focus on learning skills, gaining confidence, good sportsmanship, and building positive relationships, Y programs build the whole child, from the inside out. Our programs reinforce the Y's core values of caring, respect, responsibility, and honesty, and building lifelong, healthy habits.
Summer Program will run June 8 - August 7
The Shasta Family YMCA will be serving FREE meals to youth over the school holiday breaks and throughout the summer. Meals will be served in the Y South building. No need to make a reservation, just show up. Meals are supported by funding through CACFP.
In addition to our regular program offerings and classes, the Shasta Family YMCA hosts special activities and events - unique opportunities for youth and their families. Special offerings vary throughout the year.

Sharks Swim Team is a fantastic way to get involved in our Y community! From beginning stages to competition ready, we have a level for you.
Building confident and healthy kids is a priority. We offer an array of fitness programs so participants of all ages can be physically active, learn positive and healthy habits, and make new friends in a fun, friendly and encouraging environment.
We offer a variety of enrichment programs so youth can explore and experience different interests in an array of fun environments. Y programs engage young children in activities that build artistic and academic strengths, develop problem-solving and decision-making skills, and give youth a sense of achievement and self-esteem.
